ADS A2B-AR-FO5

The iDatalink Maestro A2B-AR-FO5 is an updated vehicle-specific amplifier replacement installation harness. Similar to the FO4, it is engineered to work with the iDatalink ADS-A2B module to swap out factory digital premium amplifiers in select newer Ford vehicles (typically 2018 and newer) equipped with A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) networks.

Key Differences & Focus of the FO5:

• Targeted Model Years: While the FO4 generally covers earlier A2B transitions (such as 2017–2020 models), the FO5 is tailored for updated Ford factory amplifier layouts found in 2018+ models, ensuring correct plug shapes, pinouts, and data communication lines.

• Streamlined Integration: It bridges the gap between the vehicle’s factory wiring harness and the Maestro A2B processor when installing an aftermarket sound system.

• No Wire Cutting: Plugs directly into factory amplifier plugs, allowing you to feed your factory audio signals into an aftermarket amplifier without splicing stock wires.

• 6-Channel Configuration: Features 6-channel RCA inputs (to connect to your aftermarket amp) and 6-channel speaker wire outputs that hook right back into the car’s existing speaker wiring grid.

• OEM Feature Retention: Preserves critical adjustments like fader control, balance, and tone settings, along with factory safety chimes and navigation prompts.
