APX 8″ radio installation kit for select GM vehicles
Description
- allows you to install a Kenwood or JVC Direct Replacement radio with a 8″ floating screen in select 2015-19 GM vehicles with factory 8″ screen (also requires the Maestro RR or RR2 module)
- retains appearance of factory dash
- retains the following factory features (if present):
- OnStar and Bluetooth Hands-Free
- steering wheel audio controls with two function buttons and expandable radio functions
- backup camera with dynamic parking guidelines and park assist chimes
- secondary vehicle display (if factory equipped)
- USB ports
- operate factory climate display/controls and vehicle settings from head unit’s screen
- adds these features:
- display vehicle information
- selectable performance gauges including “Track Pack” gauges
- read/reset check engine codes
- provides 12V/15A accessory power and illumination outputs
- provides outputs (parking brake, reverse, vehicle speed sensor [VSS]) needed to install a navigation or multimedia receiver
- does not retain factory amplifier
