Description
Subs get hot as they play, and the heat usually gets vented away via a port in the back of the sub’s pole piece. Alpine recessed the pole port and added cooling air vents on the sides of the frame, allowing you to use an enclosure with an inside clearance of as little as 4-3/16″ without blocking critical air flow. An SWT-10S2 will work well in either a ported or a sealed box, so you can get your favorite kind of bass tone, boomy or tight.
