Full-time monitoring and a clean install
If you want a clean installation of your new Kenwood dash cam, this hardwire kit makes it possible. The kit provides constant power to the DRV-A310W and other Kenwood dash cams, so you won’t have to plug your cam into a 12-volt socket whenever you get in the car. It also gives you access to parking mode, which uses your Kenwood camera’s built-in motion detection to monitor your vehicle when it’s parked.

Important Note: If your vehicle will be idle for more than two days, you should turn off the dash cam to prevent your battery from draining.
