The AXGM-05 bridges this gap, allowing you to install a modern aftermarket stereo (including navigation or multimedia units) without sacrificing your vehicle’s safety features, computer-managed chimes, or factory audio integration.

• Retains Factory Safety & Convenience Systems: Keeps factory OnStar® functionality and OEM Bluetooth® systems active and operational.

• Warning Chimes Preservation: Maintains vital safety and operational warning chimes via a built-in module speaker, complete with adjustable gain control to set your preferred chime volume.

• Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.): Keeps the radio powered on after turning off the ignition until a door is opened, mimicking the factory behavior.

• 12V / 10A Accessory Power Output: Because factory “Dock ‘n Lock” GM harnesses do not provide a standard switched 12-volt ignition/accessory wire, this module safely generates a clean 12V 10A accessory output for your new aftermarket head unit.

• Navigation Outputs: Supplies essential data wires required by aftermarket multimedia and navigation receivers, including parking brake, reverse, mute, and vehicle speed sense (VSS) lines.

• Audio Controls: Retains front-to-rear balance and left-to-right fade capabilities.
