METRA ELECTRONICS HRGBC-3

The Metra Electronics HRGBC-3 is a specialized RGB Lighting Controller designed primarily for the Harley-Davidson and PowerSports market. It is used to manage and synchronize multicolor LED lighting systems through a smartphone application.

Product Overview

This controller is part of the Metra PowerSports line and is often required for the operation of RGB lighting products on motorcycles where space is limited and weather resistance is mandatory.

Key Features

• Smartphone Control: Operates via the Metra RGB app (available for iOS and Android), offering a palette of 16 million color options.

• Pre-set Patterns: Includes integrated lighting transitions such as Fade, Blink, Pulsating, Rainbow, Water, and Fire.

• Music Sync: The controller can synchronize the LED light patterns to the beat of your music (Note: Audio control on Apple devices typically requires music downloaded through iTunes; streaming services may have limited compatibility).

• Programmable Triggers: Features 4 separate trigger wires that can be programmed to specific colors. For example, you can set the lights to turn solid Red when you hit the brakes or Amber when using turn signals.

• High Current Capacity: Capable of handling up to 10 Amps of current, allowing it to power multiple LED strips or pods simultaneously.
