Since their introduction, shallow-mount subwoofers have become popular as a solution to the problem of fitting hard-hitting bass into today’s smaller vehicles. Wāvtech’s thinPRO10 subs are designed for maximum excursion, which means more impact than a typical shallow sub. The cone’s honeycomb Nomex® and glass fiber structure combines stiffness and light weight to minimize distortion, and the sub’s heavy-duty motor structure provides the stability and range of motion to allow over two inches of excursion in a sub with a mounting depth of less than 3″.

Wāvtech’s thinPRO10 subwoofers are built to dish out chest-thumping bass at high volume levels. With a Nomex®/glass fiber honeycomb composite cone that’s designed to stay rigid at high SPL levels and a nitrile synthetic rubber surround set in a cast aluminum frame, this speaker is made to rock your world and hold up over the long haul. Dual mirrored nitrile rubber spiders have the toughness to keep things on track, and the vented frame helps keep the 4.5″ voice coil cool while it drives the sub for huge low end.
Space-saving enclosure size
The ThinPRO10-4 is made for compact enclosures. With a mounting depth of only 2.9 inches, it’ll work with sealed enclosures as small as 0.25 cubic feet and ported enclosures of only 0.8 cubic feet.
