🚐 GoFast Reps on the Road: “No Sleep Til Brooklyn”

Brooklyn has a rhythm all its own — loud, gritty, fast-moving, and impossible to ignore.

This week, that rhythm got a dose of GoFast energy as VP of Sales Bob Hernandez and Sales Rep Mike Cava rolled into South Brooklyn for a full day of dealer visits, brand promotion, and face-to-face relationship building. The title of this installment says it all: “No Sleep Til Brooklyn” — a nod to the Beastie Boys and the relentless pace of the Metro market.

Their objective: introduce and promote GoFast’s newly added brand Rain-X Automotive Products, while also strengthening momentum around staple lines in the region such as Alpine, JVC, Memphis, RDVFL, Vinland, Lucas Lighting, and more.

🌧️ Rain-X Takes Center Stage

Rain-X has become a household name across the country, and now it’s poised to become a high-velocity performer in the Metro market. With cold weather, sand, and salt rapidly approaching, dealers were excited about adding premium windshield care, glass treatment, and vehicle protection products to their counters — items that pair perfectly with the Northeast’s fall and winter driving conditions.

“Rain-X creates instant consumer trust the moment a dealer puts it on their counter,” Bob said. “It starts conversations and opens the door to add-on sales that make a meaningful impact — especially this time of year.”

🎛️ Spotlight on GoFast Staples

While Rain-X was the headline act of the day, Bob and Mike kept the spotlight shining on the 12-volt powerhouses that define GoFast in the Metro market. From Alpine’s class-leading audio, JVC’s value-focused innovation, and Memphis’s legendary low-end bass response, to RDVFL accessories, Vinland vehicle-specific solutions, and the fast-growing Lucas Lighting line, the duo gave dealers hands-on access to what’s driving sales right now.

Mike summed it up best when he said:
“I always walk in with samples of something cool. You’ve got one shot to get a dealer excited, so you better have something in your hand that makes their eyebrows go up.”

And in Brooklyn, that strategy plays exceptionally well.

🌭 A Quick Stop at a Brooklyn Legend

No GoFast trip to South Brooklyn would be complete without a recharge stop at one of the most iconic food landmarks on the planet — Nathan’s Famous in Coney Island.

Bob and Mike grabbed a quick lunch — hot dogs, fries, and a moment to regroup between dealer visits — while soaking in the history of the boardwalk, the scent of the Atlantic, and the neon nostalgia that makes Coney Island unforgettable.

It was the perfect Brooklyn reset before diving back into the grind.

🗽 Brooklyn Energy, GoFast Hustle

The remainder of the day was packed with shop visits, product demos, and strategy conversations about remote start season, lighting season, and the surge of add-on opportunities coming with the holidays. Brooklyn’s dealers brought the same energy the borough is known for — fast-paced, direct, and focused on driving revenue.

GoFast’s commitment to being on the ground, in the shops, and in the conversation reinforces the company’s dedication to being more than a distributor. We’re a partner — a resource — and a true extension of our dealers’ success.
